Shooting outside Pittsburgh church during funeral service leads to 2 arrests

Police said two men had been arrested in connection with the shooting that left six people injured outside a Pittsburgh church on Friday during a funeral procession.
The arrest took place a short distance from the church where the shooting took place. The gun was thrown into the Ohio River near Route 65 after the vehicle in which it was tossed was seen on the McKees Rocks Bridge.
The police said the suspects may have been involved in the church shooting. Two people were taken to the police headquarters, after they had been taken into custody.

There were gunshots fired during a funeral procession at the church in the city’s BRIGHTON HEIGHTS neighborhood. A number of police agencies responded to a ShotSpotter alert on the 3700 block of BRIGHTON ROAD.
The funeral was being held in the church when the shots were fired outside. Five of the six people injured are in the intensive care unit with gunshot wounds, while the other four are still in the hospital.
The victimsself transported themselves to hospitals as emergency personnel took the other three victims to a nearby hospital after they were injured in the madness.
All of the six victims were in stable condition, according to the reports. A funeral service had been held for one of the three people that were killed in the shooting on the city’s North Side. Police carried a casket from a church to a police station as they looked into the shooting.
