A stampede at Halloween kills K-pop star Lee Jihan at the age of 24

Lee Jihan was one of the victims of the Itaewon crowd crush tragedy in Seoul, South Korea. He appeared on the popular boy band competition show Produce 101.An incident in Itaewon, Seoul in South Korea, claimed the life of K-Pop singer and actor Lee Jihan at the age of 24.

154 people were confirmed dead in the tragedy, including Lee, who first became famous on Korean reality show Produce 101.

As the statement stated: “We also hoped it wasn’t true, and were shocked to hear the news. The family is in a state of grief at the moment, so we are remaining cautious. May he rest in peace.

According to reports his funeral will be held on Tuesday November 1st in his residency.When the fatal crush occurred in Seoul’s nightlife district, about 100,000 people were gathered to celebrate Halloween.

Jihan left this place and went to a comfortable place.Meanwhile, the president of South Korea Yoon Suk-yeol declared a national period of mourning, which is set to last until Sunday November 5.

It was planned for the actor to appear in the upcoming season of Season of Kkokdu when he died.

There have been over 80 injuries reported since the tragedy, and thousands of missing person reports have been filed in the days which have followed.There will be a period of national mourning until November 5 in Korea, according to the Korean government.The tragedy has led to the cancellation or postponement of several K-pop music releases and events.
